Do you struggle with stubborn areas of fat, despite regular exercise and a healthy diet?

Sometimes, all the exercise and dieting in the world does not seem to remove fat in certain areas, for example the chin, hips and waist.

Whilst surgical interventions such as liposuction are an option, other less invasive treatments have emerged as a fat removing alternative for both the face and body.

What Is It and How Does It Work?

Fat dissolving is achieved by injecting a compound solution from the deoxycholate family that has been physically modified to create a slow release sugar-based system that effectively targets fat cells. At Evesham Aesthetics we use Aqualyx, DesoBody and DesoFace.

The human body naturally stores fat in order to supply us with energy but those excess  subcutaneous fat cells that we don't want can sometimes be impossible to reduce, no matter how much exercise we do. The active substance in Deoxycholate destroys these fat cells by breaking down the membrane and liquifying the fat in the treated area. The waste product is then naturally removed from the body via the lymphatic system.

how many treatments should i have?

Typically, two treatments are required at three to four weekly intervals. Larger areas may need several treatments and this can be up to a maximum of eight.

when will i see results?

You will usually see results over the following 4-6 weeks, however, here at Evesham Aesthetics we incorporate Ultrasound Cavitation during the treatment session which not only ensures an even distribution of the product but can also speed up results significantly.

are there any side effects?

After each treatment you can expect some swelling, redness, mild skin irritation and tenderness in the area treated, which should subside after four to six days.
